The SOG Knives SOG-TAC AU is a slim automatic knife with an exciting XR Lock opener. By just pulling it down like you would to normally disengage it, the blade will spring open and lock into place. To engage the safety, simple push the lock up instead of down. Instead of adding an annoying extra step to opening this knife, it simply makes opening it require more force, drastically reducing unintentional blade deployment.
